Region:   TX
City:   Austin

Austin Area Jackson Hewitt offices are currently seeking individuals for the upcoming tax season! We are looking for candidates with open availability to hire and put into training beginning on Tuesday, 01/07/20. This is not a voluntary tax class. Candidates will be interviewed and hired prior to 01/07. After 01/07 we will not be doing any further hiring.

Experience is preferred but not a requirement. Must be 18 years or older, eligible to work in the U.S., have your own transportation, have intermediate computer skills and be able to read/write/speak English proficiently. Additionally, you must be current on your own tax returns AND be able to pass a background check.

Although this is a seasonal position, we are looking for folks that can work full-time hours(30+) within the tax season. Very Important! If you are looking for only part-time hours this will NOT be a good fit as you would likely have a difficult time completing the training due to limited availability. We are a retail business that is open nights and weekends during tax season. You must be available nights and weekends to be considered for this opportunity.

Training will be held at our office located at Parmer Ln. and I-35, but after training we will have positions available all over Austin(North, Central and South), Pflugerville, Round Rock and Manor. Training hours are from 10a-4p daily.

Please respond directly via email to this ad if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity. Please include your first/last name and a good contact number to reach you at and our management team will get back with you. Responses without a phone number included will not be contacted.

Thanks for looking and hope to hear from you soon!
